About the event
Join us at Quindaro Cemetery for a day dedicated to honoring history through action, learning, and care. More than a clean-up, this gathering is an opportunity to stand in service of a sacred historic space and help preserve the memory of those whose lives and legacies remain connected to this ground.
Volunteers will assist with trash removal and general site clean-up to help restore dignity and visibility throughout the cemetery. Participants will also support grave identification efforts by helping locate and document visible markers and burial areas, contributing to ongoing awareness and preservation work. This event is focused on respectful site care and education and will not include grave restoration or repair work.
Throughout the day, attendees will learn about the history of the cemetery, the people laid to rest there, and the broader story of Quindaro—its struggle, resilience, and significance. Every act of care given to this space is an…
